Beatrice E. Hensleit
Beatrice E. Hensleit, RN, is a highly respected healthcare executive, regulatory consultant, and registered
nurse with more than four decades of experience in healthcare leadership, licensing, certification,
regulatory compliance, and quality improvement. Throughout her distinguished career, she has been
recognized for her expertise in helping healthcare organizations navigate complex state and federal
regulations while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
As the founder, President, and CEO of Hensleit Healthcare Consulting, Beatrice spent 18 years advising
more than 500 healthcare facilities across California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, and New Mexico.
Her consulting firm specialized in healthcare licensing, federal certification, regulatory compliance,
facility development, and operational readiness for hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, psychiatric
hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, rural health clinics, and other healthcare organizations.
Prior to founding her consulting firm, Beatrice dedicated many years to the California Department of
Public Health, where she served in numerous leadership roles, including Supervisor, Central Training
Unit Instructor, Health Facilities Evaluator Nurse, and most recently as a Retired Annuitant mentoring
newly hired nurse surveyors. She has conducted and supervised countless licensing surveys, complaint
investigations, and regulatory evaluations while helping train the next generation of healthcare surveyors
throughout California.
Her clinical leadership also includes serving as a Nursing Manager and Corporate Nurse Internal Auditor
for Community Hospitals of Central California and coordinating the opening of Central California’s first
Cardiac Rehabilitation Program while at Saint Agnes Medical Center. Her extensive background spans
critical care, cardiac surgery, nursing administration, healthcare operations, and regulatory oversight.
Beatrice earned a Bachelor of Arts from Fresno Pacific University, where she received the Outstanding
Graduate Award, and holds an Associate of Science in Registered Nursing. She remains a licensed
Registered Nurse in California and has devoted her career to improving healthcare quality, mentoring
healthcare professionals, and advancing excellence in patient care.
